Slater's anvil, forged steel, Right, 500 mm

Roofer-slater's anvil, model of straight shape, 500mm long for right-hand cut, manufactured in one piece of tempered steel, quality S500. This steel is particularly resistant and will avoid torsion under the repetitive beating into the building timber and will assure a correct durability of the tool in time. The JOUANEL slater's anvil has a very slightly convex bearing surface, this manufacturing specificity is to limit tremendously the slate breaks when cutting.
